Re: Why Installed FREEWARE PDF writer
I thought it was included in AutoCAD as a plot function? Like when you pull down the list of plotters. I have two. One I loaded for Adobe 6 and one that says Adobe PDF. No?

I use a Free App called "Cute PDF writer" so you can print from any app to a PDF, and it will allow you to keep text data in the pdf if you wish so a customer can cut and past text from your documents. it works as a system printer

Re: Why Installed FREEWARE PDF writer
Bullzip does the same... from what I've seen the internal Acad pdf writer can create errors on some drawings which don't appear when I use Bullzip (& likewise the other way round). Also I can use it for other applications as a system printer.

My advice..is stay away from the standard acad pdf printer. There are so many good ones (all free) out there
