US Bailout for Homeowner & Public works? Empty US Bailout for Homeowner & Public works?

Post by architech Sun Feb 22, 2009 12:26 am

Alright Rik....
We discussed the bailout for the automakers... and other corporate businesses.

Now here comes the bailout for ... "tricked homeowners"... to buy expensive homes... LOL...

And the remaining funds are to go to the states to create work to rebuild or repair highways/ bridges/ schools and make new ones as well...
All on the condition that no state who takes the handout... will not abuse the money given....

Hell.
Some states are not accepting the money because of the conditions that Obama placed on the lent money.

Archi.....
I understand exactly what your saying. The bottom line is that we are up to our arse in national debt and there is plenting of blame to pass around starting with the lenders, borrowers, bank CEO'S, to name a few. What really pisses me off is that the big 3 automobile industries and banks were well into debt before there was a "bail out" plan in place and nothing was ever said. Now that the Gov't. is handing out "free" money to help these theives, everybody is holding their hands out with palms up. The bottom line is that We, the American taxpayers are the ones that is ultimately bailing these crooks out. I feel that the Gov't should've took money and devided it up amonst the taxpayers and sent us a big check. Let the people spend it how they choose, thats how you get out of a recession, helps the economy, helps the housing problems, helps the autobile makers, helps Americans keep their jobs, and stops recession globally. But once again we got screwed with this deal and we will end up paying for it again.

I'm sorry, So what you are saying is it's the fault of the lenders who are selling a legal product (the Loan), and the Guy buying more than he could ever afford is Blameless for taking out a loan He Know's good and well he can't afford? that's like Blaming Piper Aricraft for JFK Jr.'s air crash where The pilot's(JFK Jr.) failure to maintain control of the airplane during a
descent over water at night, despite his lack of an IFR (Instrument Flight Rules) rating! Or like some Idiot boing out and buying a gun and shooting his own kid and Blaiming Colt Fire Arms because he was unable to controll himself!

Capitalism with out consequences is what we call Socialism, so What you are missing is Prez. Satan and his liberal ILK love this idea, anytime a government get's involved in Free enterprise, it's a form of Communism. Next thing you know Prez Satan and his pet bull dog Hitlery will be wanting to nationalize the Auto Companies and banks. Look at what socialism did for the brittish Auto Makers ! And Mitch Please Dear god Please tell me if you had a Rich Uncle and he was outside your office giving away Crisp New $100 Bills, you wouldn't be out there with your hands out with palms up.

Sorry mitch, Please help me to understand, how are they crooks ? are they any more culpable then Old Leroy Taking Welfare, or Faking a disibility to get's him a check? and am I to believe you think every American should get an equal rebate? so the Guy that did not take the Proper Path in life ( Get an education, Get a job, Work hard, work smart) should get just as much as a Guy like me that has paid %40 - %60 of my income in Taxes over my lifetime? and Let's look at the cost of serving the bureaucracy to collect my Tax $$$ and Redistribute my money to every bum in the country, Why not give tax credits or reductions that will benefit every one in proportion to Tax Contribution? and when you say "Let the people spend it how they choose" do you mean the Pork Barrel Gov. workers Drawing Bloated pay check with no fear of job loss due to laziness or incompetence ? should they be allowed to Spend our money on social Programs geared twords those that contribute the least?

Rik,
All im saying is that the rich are getting the breaks and the handouts, and us middle and lower class taxpayers are the ones getting screwed again. it was a slap in the face when the big 3 auto dealers rolled up in their corporate jets during the time when gas was sky high asking for millions. Who do you think is going to pay for this down the road? Smile

Well Mitch, It Pisses me off to no end to think about the Big 3 getting one red cent! Seriously let them suffer from the unfortunate Choices they made by dealing with the unions. I Hate and it pains me to no end to say The American worker has become A fat, Lazy, Over Fed, and Greedy PIG. It amazes me How the Japanese can build a better Product and ship it here for less money! The Japanese worker Lives a better Quality of life in the Most expensive country in the world! The difference is how engineers in America are lazy and design to the Minimum Acceptable level, while the Japanese Engineer will spend many sleepless nights to find the BEST Solution . The American Worker if asked to Clean his workspace will Yell and scream about his UNION Contract , while the Japanese work will stay after his shift to clean his workspace on his own time! the Japanese worker Understands what's good for the company is good for the worker while the American worker is Selfish and only cares about what they can get for them selves! So for that the Big 3 can suffer and lay off all those Lazy Fucks!

I totally agree with some people being fat and lazy, and they should be dealt with accordingly. My main concern is that the Gov't was to quick in giving in to these Corporations by handing out trillions of dollars thinking that this would be a quick fix to get us out of recession. Unfortunatley, the monies have not been spent wisely and we are in a deeper recession. Yes, the consumer has made bad decessions in the home buying market, the credit card companies give credit to trully unquilifed people, and they do this knowing they can make big money off high interest charges. But when things go south, they want us tax payers to bail them out. I personally don't feel that i should have to pay with my taxes to bail out these companies that mis-manage their corporation. I work my tail off, i pay my taxes, where's my relief?
