Re: My Mexican trip......a diary.....
Dunno if you know, Skeeps, but Mexicans let their fireworks off from a tower. That pylon thing was a huge tower that all the fireworks were let off from. In the middle of the wheels the fireworks formed text saying something like "thanks for the good job".

Re: My Mexican trip......a diary.....
LOL This is an awesome diary Allan... you are quite the writer. Just you keep them coming and don't leave out ANY details. Having lived in Kalifornia for over 20 years, I've seen quite the variety of mexican parties and I'd be in full agreement, they party like no one else on this planet and EVERYONE is more than welcome to attend and they ALL prefer that you do.The food, music and friendship is beyond that of any other place i have ever been.
Like I said...keep em coming please

Re: My Mexican trip......a diary.....
MMmmm, Allan, you are definitely having a GOOD time! Wine (or something alcoholic), Women (lots of eyecandy), and Song (LIVE Bands!). That sounds about as close to Party Heaven as you can get. And how great it must be to have Zars and Claudia as friends.
Love the travel log. Wish I could just taste the pictures with food! Zars, tell us when the vid of Allan dancing gets posted!
Regards, Vivian
And the guys aren't bad looking either! Too bad they're all soooooo young but yummy eyecandy! The women here.....so many of them are really drop dead gorgeous. I wanna take a dozen home with me. Mwhahaha.

Dude that was pretty insensitive of you man I'm ashamed you know their official designation is Chicano, or Hispanic, or even Undocumented Worker! Never call them Mesikins that shows a bias on your part

Re: My Mexican trip......a diary.....
Well you Know Alan, Looking at Zars, Then C, and looking at that Dress, I worry about ya mate! You see a Huge part of Chicano Culture is Machismo. And from the amount of Pretty C has, Zars Must have the Machismo in Abundance. A Large part of Machismo is a protectiveness towards their woman! Chicano men with the amount of Machismo it would take to Win the heart of such a beautiful woman, Tend to Put 2 and 2 together and get 7. So you better be careful about those shopping trips in to town You can't imagine how many holes there are out in the deserts of Old Mexico Keep Reporting in Alan so we don't worry about you Man

Yeah, my bad... I apologize if that was insentive. I'm just meaning Cailfornians live in California, New Yorkers live in New York so I meant it like that and in no other way.
You seem to have some awsome & georgus friends there taking care of you Alan.

Re: My Mexican trip......a diary.....
Not fair....they were dancing the Rhumba......I wouldn't have a clue how to dance the Rhumba.
I was quite happy sitting drinking tekila with another teacher, and Claudia came and dragged me up by the ears.

Ok, I'll try to do that. She's very good at what she does. You'll see. About Alan he did well, in fact I think he actually danced better that I did.... and what it counts is that he tried.

Re: My Mexican trip......a diary.....
Rick....that avatar...the original is over a metre tall...and it's all made of very fine slithers of wood, burnt at varying amounts to get the different colour tones. Then all put together.
It really is an amazing piece of work. And no gaps between any of the wood joins.

Re: My Mexican trip......a diary.....
Just to let everyone know......
Tomorrow Zars moves into his new house. There is no internet there, and it's unknown how long it will take to get hooked up (more likely months rather than days). So Zars will still be online from his work, but I won't have access from his home.
Also, on Monday, Claudia and I will be going to Morelia for 3 odd days, so that will also count me out. Then Friday night Claudia and I (and maybe Zars, if he can get some days off) will be going down to Acapulco for a few days.
That should just about get me close to the end of my holidays. I'll be back in Australia on the 16th January. And back to my usual obnoxious self.
I was going to write the next installment of the diary this morning.....but things have been kinda busy every day since I've been here, that when I was about to start writing, it was a case of up and off again. It looks like the final installment will have to wait untill I get back home to Australia.
Anyway, while I'm off line for probably the next couple of weeks, Zars will handle everything (from his office internet connection) from this end.

Re: My Mexican trip......a diary.....
Ok people.
Just to let you know, Alan went out of my city on a trip to know one of the most turistic places in my state. Claudia's taking care of him.
They'll come back tonight.
We have prepared 2 more trips. One to Acapulco this weekend and the other one to Morelia (capital of the state).
